A Little Extra Love is a Christian ministry founded by disability parents. We equip churches through Inclusive Pathways, help church plants build belonging through PLANT Pathways, and walk alongside families with Scripture, prayer and practical support.

What began as honest conversation and support around our own table grew into a ministry caring for families and helping churches turn good intentions into everyday belonging. We believe families should not have to choose between following Jesus and finding a church where their whole family can participate. That conviction still guides every gathering, resource, training, and conversation.

We did not give up on the Church. We got to work.

When Caleb was extremely sick, we moved to Colorado looking for answers, resources, and a church our whole family could call home. We visited more than sixteen churches. At one of the last, before we even made it inside, someone looked at Caleb and said, “Sir, I’m sorry, we don’t do that here.”

Our calling began at home with our son Caleb, who has Down syndrome, autism, and complex medical needs. Raising him has filled our family with joy and opened our eyes to the realities disability families often carry.

Family life is where the work began and where it keeps returning.

It started in our living room.

We write monthly Bible studies and gather families through GROW Groups across the U.S. and Canada, Rooted Dads and retreats. Our Parent Advocacy Guide helps parents begin a gracious conversation with their church.
